How to make your nails stronger


Nails for every girl are a fashion statement and a matter of pride as well. Nails are also a view of the world of your cleanliness and hygiene. Thus, you must keep your nails clean and healthy. Nails have a transparent layer on top which is made up of keratin. If not maintained, nails can be brittle, easily breaking and discoloured. Healthy nails are strong and even coloured while weak nails have patches and signs of yellowing. Healthy nails are also smooth and uniform. Weak nails are generally an effect of improper care and lack of attention towards them. One such reason can be constant and long-lasting exposure to water, soap and overuse of nail polish.

Not to worry though, it is rather simple to bring your nails back to their healthy condition. You need to follow a healthy balanced diet, lifestyle and a proper nail care schedule. This will help you have healthy and good looking nails which are strong and smooth. So here we bring you some of the remedies you can use to bring your nails back:

2Green Tea:

Image result for Green TeaGreen tea contains lots of antioxidants which not only makes your nails stronger but also prevents them from getting brittle.  Along with this, it stops the nails from getting yellow. Here are some of the ways you can use green tea:

  1. Simply brew a cup of green tea and let it cool. Then soak your nails in it for 10-15 minutes. You can do this twice a week.
  2. You can prepare a nail soak as well; add a pinch of salt and few drops of wheat germ oil to 2 teaspoons of green tea. You can use this twice a week. Just soak your nails in this mixture and for 5 minutes and then wipe it off using a dry cloth.
  3. Another thing you can do is mix coconut oil or aloe vera gel with green tea essential oil and massage using this. This can be done once or twice a week.
